Means your browser did not send a referrer URL. This is possible by some plugin that enhance privacy by eliminating it. If this is the case disable plugins.
Or you tried to fill in the link in your browser address bar directly. Always go to a page where a banner is displayed first and then click on it.

Did you install a separate module for the banners or are you using the default banner system in admin?

Which XOOPS, PHP and MySQL version do you have?

Are you sure the email came from your system and is not a fake SPAM thingy?

Did you add these editor classes after intallation?
Try by erasing the editor list in one of the directories of xoops_data.

using phpmyadmin, find the table (xoops_config) that stores your sites preferences and edit the selected theme (theme_set) to be 'default' instead of 'yourtheme'.

When you use the profile module, registering is done with /modules/profile/register.php
Change also there.

There are some techniques explained (search for IPB, PHPBB or SMF) but it stays some try and error with manual work.
