A little to much xclamationsign (don't know if it's the correct word in english..but this -> ! <- ) It's like your yelling to your visitors.

Why are you somehow obligating people to install Firefox? This all is very confusing. I hate these kind of messages. Sorry.

Install Firefox and you get rid of it

We all know that Firefox is better, so I agree with Shine that it's unnecessary to claim it.

And just as you know: your site looks exactly the same in both IE and Firefox, you are claiming that IE is not compatible with your site, which is actualy a lie..

Besides that, it looks nice and I'm looking forward to see your site grow too :)

Edit: LOL! The message shows up EVERY time you click on a link if you use IE, so the only thing that does IE incompatible is the warningmessage, you will loose visitors on this.

What do you mean with "appeard as a normal link" ?
Didn't it show up like this:

My first link
My second link
.....My first sublink
.....My second sublink
My third link
My fourth link

(without periods)

Or did you want to hide sublinks until someone click on the menulink?
If so, I'm ain't the right one to answer you there.
Actually that was what I tried to do with my own links at the first time, but it didn't work and after all - I liked it this way :)
I don't know, but maybe you have to change it in your theme.

Hello
I tried to update my theme.html file but was unable to see the result. I've read all the suggestions on updating the file but none worked.
-I've changed to YES the setting in Preferences-->General Preferences,
-I've also updated the System modules,
-I've copied the new file to the /themes/myThemes/ directory.
-I've cloned the Template file and used the new name within the Preferences-->General Preferences settings
-I tried to delete all files in the templates_c folder but that caused my site to show a blank page. Luckily I did a backup before I started.

Any other suggestions I can try? I'm using 2.0.13.2

Thanks

Try with deleting all your .html -files in the "cache" folder

Try it this way instead:
<table cellspacing="0">
 <
tr>
  <
td id="mainmenu">
  <
class="menuTop" href="{X_SITEURL}">Home</a>
  <
class="menuMain" href="{X_SITEURL}modules/tutorials/">Tutorials</a>
  <
class="menuMain" href="{X_SITEURL}modules/newbb/">Forum</a>
  <
class="menuMain" href="{X_SITEURL}modules/AMS/">News</a>
  <
class="menuMain" href="{X_SITEURL}modules/rss/">RSS/XML</a>
  <
class="menuMain" href="{X_SITEURL}modules/contact/">Contact</a>
  </
td>
 </
tr>
</
table>

{X_SITEURL} =http://www.avenue411.com (do NOT place any slashes after {X_SITEURL})

If you wanna add sub menus under a menu replace "menuMain" with "menuSub", for example:
<table cellspacing="0">
 <
tr>
  <
td id="mainmenu">
  <
class="menuTop" href="{X_SITEURL}">Home</a>
  <
class="menuMain" href="{X_SITEURL}modules/tutorials/">Tutorials</a>
  <
class="menuMain" href="{X_SITEURL}modules/newbb/">Forum</a>
  <
class="menuMain" href="{X_SITEURL}modules/AMS/">News</a>
[
b]  <class="menuSub" href="{X_SITEURL}modules/AMS/archive.php">Archive</a>
  <
class="menuSub" href="{X_SITEURL}modules/AMS/submit.php">Submit News</a>[/b]
  <
class="menuMain" href="{X_SITEURL}modules/rss/">RSS/XML</a>
  <
class="menuMain" href="{X_SITEURL}modules/contact/">Contact</a>
  </
td>
 </
tr>
</
table>

Talking about fast response

This one for example:http://pnooka.org/modules/contact/
This module looks really great, so I want to give it a try, looks like it's just what I need.
I don't think it's the same that came with 2.0.x ..just tried it, and it looks different, but I can't be sure cause the admin-panel didn't work (tried it with Xoop 2.2.3 :-p ).

I have seen many xoops-sites that use a module named "Contact" for the "contact us page", but where is it?
I have looked both high and low, but I still can't find it.. have also tried similar modules, but unfortunately none of them filled mine requirements.
Anyone who can help me find the Contact module?

I get 5 Error-messages with 7dana Xred theme that I dunno how to solve.

The errors at W3.org says:
ID "headmenu" already defined.
An "id" is a unique identifier. Each time this attribute is used in a document it must have a different value. If you are using this attribute as a hook for style sheets it may be more appropriate to use classes (which group elements) than id (which are used to identify exactly one element).

Here is the HTML:
<tr
    <
td colspan="2"><table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" width="100%" border="0">
     <
tr align="center"
        <
td width="288" bgcolor="#770000"></td>
        <
td id="headmenu"><class="menuHead"

href="<{$xoops_url}>/index.php">HOME</a></td>

        <
td width="1" bgcolor="#d7d7d7"></td>
        <
td id="headmenu2"><class="menuHead2"

href="<{$xoops_url}>/modules/news/">NEWS</a></td>

        <
td width="1" bgcolor="#d7d7d7"></td>
        <
td id="headmenu"><class="menuHead"

href="<{$xoops_url}>/modules/newbb/">FORUM</a></td>

        <
td width="1" bgcolor="#d7d7d7"></td>
        <
td id="headmenu"><class="menuHead"

href="<{$xoops_url}>/modules/tutorials/">TUTORIALS</a></td>

        <
td width="1" bgcolor="#d7d7d7"></td>
        <
td id="headmenu"><class="menuHead"

href="<{$xoops_url}>/modules/mydownloads/">DOWNLOADS</a></td>

        <
td width="1" bgcolor="#d7d7d7"></td>
        <
td id="headmenu"><class="menuHead"

href="<{$xoops_url}>/modules/contact/">CONTACT</a></td>
</
tr>
</
table></td>

and headmenu-declaration in the CSS-file is:
td#headmenu a
{

background-color#770000;

color#FFFFFF;

font-size10px;

displayblock;

padding8px;
}
td#headmenu a:hover
{

background-color#AB1410;

color#FFFFFF;
}
td#headmenu a.menuHead
{

font-size10px;
}

Thanks in andvance

tried it and now it's reporting 237, it's reduced by three.

Edit WOW! sorry for blaming all our terrific developers, 227 of the errors was caused by a custom block I made!

Fixed 137 of them and now I "only" have 90 errors, which all is:
an attribute value specification must be an attribute value literal unless SHORTTAG YES is specified.
gotta quote all attributes with ->""<-
