If I understand you want to call images from news article, not from news topic.
1. there were in XOOPS org a hacked version with editable special field - for additional field. (Check this forum thread: https://xoops.org/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?start=0&topic_id=63136&viewmode=flat&order=ASC&type=&mode=0 )
2. U can find this hack as a normal solution in 2 other modules for news:
a) publisher
b) smartsection

and they work great without any hack!

Hmmm how about this:
1. Download MyIframe module (HERE)
2. Put in module administration link you want to see
3. Check it
4. Menu - you hve to manyally put this link into main menu (nevermid it's a system block template or your own template)
If U have some problem with it, and MyIframe gives wanted result, but you don't know just PM me

But - do I remeber thats new comments system will be improved into 2.4?

Which version of ZenCart you use?
Is it Zen_Cart_Xoops_0.3_1.3 ?

Try ZOX ZenCart on XOOPS:

It require registration for free download this module (be carefull cos default system language is japanese, but if U know zen-cart yo can quickly change language into eglish)

So in order:
1. Clone templates in : http://www.yourxoopssite.com/modules/system/admin.php?fct=tplsets
2. Go to the system preferences:
http://www.yourxoopssite.com/modules/system/admin.php?fct=preferences&op=show&confcat_id=1
3. Set fild "Check templates for modifications ?" to "YES"
4. Set field "Default template set" to your template clone (which you did in step 1)
5. After changes redo step 3, and set "Check templates for modifications ?" into "No" for security reasons.
6. Clean cache and templates_c folders on your server.
7. Go into the blocks or templates you want to change and do this. CHanges will be visible after refreshing page.
