A "radical" change isn't required but since the project identity (brand recognition) was "destroyed" by the last project manager, Mr Herko and Co.
Originally the project had blue, orange and withe colors.
Actually the logo refers most to something that has never see the day : xoopsphere. Such plastic aesthetic & reconstructive surgeon has turned XOOPS into a sort of genetic mutant (cloning himself ^^)

Maybe you should seriously consider to keep that door open to innovation and creativity - including layout and templates!

You should check Wanikoo work !
I've also convert some themes
to "flying windows" that shows
such interface can be easily done
with Xoops. But take care online!
Till next version, run an intranet

Have Fun

Viva trabis,

Maybe violating code of honor !?

Some time ago, after check the module
i've posted here and at xoopscube.org some
issues and that sites runing the module are
vulnerable. They add some features and 'sanitize?'
but it remains vulnerable.

Have Fun

1. you can add a smarty plugin or script to identify browser and device
2. you can built your theme/css with screen size in mind

Safari is built on KHTML not so different from Gecko
( should learn to share and learn from each other)

Apple's website states that Safari is built and optimized for Flash.
Humm... maybe they expect you to built an interface with flash+xml+php

Note:
It's a marketing/fashion thing to sell millions of "mobile apps"
not a revolution of primitve web technology

Hi Voltan,

Since impress rely on Gijoe modules and support
they also made an effort to implement XOOPS Cube
Legacy features alike XOOPS TRUST PATH and preloads
so, quite close to XOOPS standards

From what i read at Peak forums, you should pay attention
to user profile (if extended with new fields) and custom tags.

The "big change" is that they also adopt salt and they changed the lock of the old wood door ^^
(something also done by instantzeor)

So, when importing users, they may have to request a new password. Test it locally first and

Have fun sharing your experience !

P.S. Thanks for persian translation !

Search Gijoe Peak web site

Then download the following modules:
1. Altsys
2. Pico

From the same author's site download FCKEditor (wysiwyg editor)

These modules use XOOPS_TRUST_PATH
(you have to place core files outside public folder)

And add a line to your mainfile.php

Sounds complicated ?
- No worries, it is quite easy and satisfaction bigger.

Altsys+Pico+FCKEditor will allow you to manage all kind of content (from static html to rich multimedia)

Have Fun !

Note:
Gijoe is also releasing HD Distribution for XOOPS Cube Legacy
it is a complete solution with new D3 modules generation
and XOOPS_TRUST_PATH running out of the box.

Trabis you should understand that actually XOOPS is a fork of itself
and that since the project was "managed" by Herko, Myth and Skalpa

You should also read about "legacy" in terms of software development.

Otherwise if your development is based in XOOPS 2 standards and your code object oriented you have no problems with Xoops, Cube legacy, php 4, 5, or 6
because it's only a question of coding the right way

... with code of of honor in mind.

Have Fun !

Hi preachur,

i didn't test 2.0.18
but if it supports Altsys and XOOPS_TRUST_PATH
used by XOOPS Cube Legacy D3 modules
it should run smoothly

Have Fun !

Note:
I confirm that XOOPS sites running yougurt still vulnerable !
