Hi Mamba,

Thanks for directing me to this thread. It gave me some things to look at, but I still couldn't find the reason why my install (2.5.6, extcal_2.37_Final) was giving me '_CAL_TUESDAY', etc instead of the English values. I ended up hard coding these into several files to solve my problems.

At this point I'm working on the Submit Event screen in the admin control panel. The start and end dates are not displaying correctly, and the pop-up calendar is not getting the date variables, as you can see from the attached image:

Resized Image

Not sure what is causing this...

I have just now twice done this:

- Uninstall PM module
- Delete PM module data from server
- Downloaded and extract the full xoops install
- Uploaded the PM module to the server

And it still shows ver. 1.09 for the PM module in the module admin page.
I don't get it....

I downloaded the upgrade script through this site and installed it. I assumed that would come with the latest PM version. I'll delete it and try again...

Thanks,

Yes, I ran Upgrade. :)

Where is the best place to get the latest version - the Module repository?

Do you know why?

Thanks,

Thanks Mamba,

I went into Maintenance, cleaned all cache folders, emptied the sessions table, selected all tables and did a repair, logged out and back in again, and was still not able to access user profiles. I then went and performed Optimize, Check, Repair, and Analyze on the sessions table, logged out and back in, and was still not able to access user profiles.

Maybe I need to try re-installing the module?

PS: In the meantime, I ran a checksum on the files, found some differences, re-uploaded those files, confirmed ok via checksum. Then I uninstalled, re-uploaded, and re-installed the User Profile module, cleaned cache, emptied sessions table, repaired all DB tables, logged out/in, and .... still have the same problem. :)

This broke again when I upgraded to XOOPS 2.5.6:

=========
User Profile 1.85 Final (2012/7/30)
by Jan Pedersen, Taiwen Jiang, alfred, Wishcraft
Updated:2013/7/31 9:12
=========

Logged in as admin, I can view my own profile, and the profiles of other admins, but when I try to view a non-admin user's profile, I get "Sorry, you don't have the permission to access this area." and get bounced back to my own profile.

Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Hi guys,

I'm using MyMenus 1.1 and XOOPS 2.5.6. I can't figure out how to get the current page link to highlight. I've tried setting CSS info in the links, but it has no effect on the appearance of the menu - no highlighting. I tried the hack that ianez showed below, but nothing changes.

Any ideas?

Cheers,

Hi mariane,

I came across this thread in the search for a way to highlight the current page. I've tried using MyMenus, but can't see anywhere to highlight the current page. Is it supposed to do it automatically? Or is it set in the CSS for each link in the menu? I have CSS info included in my link in MyMenus, but it still doesn't highlight when the page is loaded.

I'm using XOOPS 2.5.6.

Any ideas?

Cheers,
