Thanks Bender

I did do the coorect upload and install. There seems to be some modules that don't work. Maybe it's because of my version of Xoops.

Great TuT. Thanks

I am new to XOOPS but I know one thing I found out. If you are using a 3rd party free hosting or a to small of packege to have a database. You won't be able to use Xoops.

I had a package that didn't have a database and I had to upgrade to a larger package that supported a database.

In my case I now have a minimum of 1.5 Gb of disk space to get a database package.

Maybe this isn't true for all hosting but I just notice you are set up as a 3rd party hosting site and added my 2 cents of experiance

First of all I have to say thanks for all your support for getting XOOPS running on my site. I was really getting down about it not working at first.

Okay new business here. I went to FAQ's and looking in the forums for adding modules from the Module repository,

The problem is this and I could be doing it wrong still.

I have download Modules and p[ut them in the module folder. I see it in the list to select from. But when I go to install it can't find a path or unreconizes it.

Anyone with some more good TuTs for me will be great.

well I am not sure wth I am doing.

Sure doesn't look like a website.

Anyone know Jack Being or just Being I been searching for him and I know he has been here. I found his posts from a while back. I sure could have him webmaster my site.

I have until July 1st to put this up and I see it won't happen.

I just spent a s...load of money on this to work.

You see a site? or a control panel?

I am trying and I think I built a news section..(which really is a test)

I don't see it.

This is not what XOOPS looked like when I was a end user at GaG.
