First of all I have to say thanks for all your support for getting XOOPS running on my site. I was really getting down about it not working at first.

Okay new business here. I went to FAQ's and looking in the forums for adding modules from the Module repository,

The problem is this and I could be doing it wrong still.

I have download Modules and p[ut them in the module folder. I see it in the list to select from. But when I go to install it can't find a path or unreconizes it.

Anyone with some more good TuTs for me will be great.

Thanks Bender

I did do the coorect upload and install. There seems to be some modules that don't work. Maybe it's because of my version of Xoops.

Great TuT. Thanks

Any chance you could provide a screen shot of your admin/system/modules page?

Make sure that your directories are the correct case.

IE. if you install AMS it will not work if you put it an a directory called ams

It must be in directory AMS

Make sure you are uploading only the actual module folder. Some modules come compressed and inside the compressed folder there may be a folder with the same name as the compressed file and then inside that folder another folder which is the actual module with all its files. I have seen this go as far as three and four deep before getting to the actual module folder. The actual module folder will have the name of the module you wanted and nothing else.

It could be that you have uploaded a couple of wrong folders from the compressed files.
