Re: Repository Module

Would it be possible (desirable?) to have each of the info sections - Function, Blocks available, Installation notes, etc - set up as collapsible fields in order to maintain a consistent visual impression when viewing these pages? Maybe with a 'Read more' button following a very short - one line or two at most - description.

I ask as I can imagine trying to maintain a clean visual presentation of all this info is going to be a headache. If the fields arbitrarily cut off anything over 200chars (or whatever the number may be) it would probably be much easier to 'flick' through when looking for a module...

The only thing they can do is probably to place a nuke (yes, a nuke) and cover it naturally... but, if it fails, they could really mess up... :/

Re: How to update a module on xoops repository??

But you should let users to be able to update their own modules, to avoid this embarassing of sending PM every time we need to update our work

Making it easy might also encourage mod devs to update their own entries here on xo. Save mamba or whoever some work too.

I'll second infomoz's call for mod devs willing to build/modify a new repository mod. Any takers?

Re: XOOPS 2.4.4

Have you tried unzipping it on your server with your ftp app, and if so, what's the file structure?

Re: 2.0.17 To 2.4.4

See this thread. Same advice but different section of the release notes applies.

The instructions are about as clear as we could make them. Just take it one step at a time and don't skip anything. Work on a backedup local site if in doubt.
