Ok - I sent you a PM, but I will explain further here.

Application and Roster is great. ALMOST works perfect. What I have found is this.

User can fill out Application no problem. IF...they have the letter "v" anywhere in their email address it will delete that "v"out and instead of an email address being tgravel@cox.net" it is now "tgrael@cox.net". Furthermore - the admin email address - does the same exact thing. The only way I realized this was by looking in the PhPMyAdmin and looking at the Database for xRoster. I also was able to change my admin email to cs58906@a3eclan.clanservers.com and started recieving all my test emails from the application. I checked further and nowhere in the rest of my site - Forums, News, etc. does the "v" get dropped off (actually what happens is it just deletes the "v" and shrinks the word ie: vvvaavmv turns into aam). Also and this is what is almost as troubling, is knowing that at least something is coming through, albeit wrong emails, when I go to Approve New Members under the Admin for xRoster, it says "There are no new applicants yet".

I will be willing to give you access to my site to see if there is anyway to fix this problem. I love this Module and will be willing to link to SOE or you and give credit where credit is due. That worked great - Thank you. I have I believe the last of my questions regarding xRoster. Everything is up. I can manually add members, I can set up all the groups and titles and whatnot, and the application comes up perfectly with all the fields set exactly how I want them. The problem that I am having now is after filling out the application, no email is sent to email address I have set for Admin email (ie: Recruiters email address). Furthermore, when I look in the Approve new members it says there are no new applicants yet. It is as if they are filling out the form and it is going NoWhere. Can you help with this as well - Thanks again - Troy.

Oh yeah - and I checked in PhPMyAdmin and looked under xRoster and browsed and it shows where I put in like 5 or 6 test applications (I tried it myself before letting members try it - except one member tried and he is in there as well - in the database that is.) So I know that the data is going somewhere.

Anyone able to tell me how to edit the Application? I want to be able to change the list of games as well as the list of Weapons (Primary and Secondary). Thanks for any help in advance.

I am the Administrator/Webmaster of www.a3eclan.com. Recently (As in today) my users told me there is a bug on my site - when they go to login, it already has a username in the login (HubKat) and that just happens to be MY username. That is not however my admin login - but it is an account that I created to use instead of just plain old admin as a username, so it has all the permissions. I believe I am being hacked by someone I know, but could be totally off the mark on that one. I have loaded (and it has been running for a few weeks now) - the autologin features. I have checked everything I can think of and do not see where it would be set to automatically put my login name in the login box for everyone that comes to my site to see. any idea on how we can edit the dropdown menu for the games list - My clan supports CS 1.6 and Source right now and I would like to be able to edit the Application form.

Thanks for your work - it actually put me in the right direction. I found I was able to turn them on - long enough to insert the info I needed. Then turn them back off again. It works. so if I jusst change info I can do what I did in a matter of secs - again thanks.

I downloaded and installed the FatalQuery Module for my Xoops2 site. Loads up fine through Module admin and shows up. I can click on preferances and change any of the preferances there fine. However, when I click on any of the other buttons, Add Server, Add Map, etc. etc. - nothing happens - it clicks as if I clicked a button - but it just displays the same lists of buttons. If anyone has used this yet or have experienced this same problem, could you please post here as to a solution. I have been looking for a mod to track our game servers - 1.6 and Source - and this seems to be about all there is out there (Without having a custom module made). I have seen links to sites that are using this - and it seems to work fine. the module was originally done for php-nuke, but was ported over to Xoops. Any help will be greatly appreciated. I know this possibly should be in the Modules section - but from what I have seen there everyone skirts around this question.

I have loaded the Protector Module and have all the Security advisory settings fixed except one - 'allow_url_fopen'

it says that I need to edit the PHP.INI or HTTPD.CONF file and insert -
php_admin_flag allow_url_fopen off

Problem is - no matter where I go or who I ask - no one has been able to tell me where I find the php.ini file. After researching I thought it might be the Web Server Hosting Company that has to edit that file but I was told:

"We don't directly support the websites, only host them. I would imagine to edit a file like that you would have to connect to your website via FTP, download the file, edit it how you please, and re-upload it to your site."

I know how to do all that - problem is - I don't see that file anywhere - any help would be appreciated. Sincerely - Troy
