I have actually gone from bad to worse. I can no longer access the backend part of my site. (Man - when I screw up I do it right). I have my site "turned off" for maintenance - and that is all I can do - It gives me a login for admin - but after inputting that - it brings me right back to a login screen again.

Just checking in to see there has not been a response as of yet. If I could get some assistance it would be greatly appreciated. Troy

I have uploaded the contents of htdocs to my root and uploadd the upgrade folder. After doing so I went to my url/upgrade and it actually has a Red Circle iwth an X in the middle next to the upgrade file. I click on Proceed to upgrade and almost in an instant it says Performing Upgrade. I click on Finish (it actually doesn't do anything) and the whole process starts all over again. My admin section still shows me as having 2.0.13.1 and my homepage is blank.

Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required '/home/a3eclan/public_html/class/theme.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/a3eclan/public_html/header.php on line 55
Warning [PHP]: main(/home/a3eclan/public_html/class/theme.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in file header.php line 55

If anyone has experienced this or has any suggestions please feel free to post, pm, im, email, etc etc etc - I am actually trying to laugh right now as it actually has me bummed out at the moment - I know you guys are good - Please help.

Troy

Actually performing the operation isn't an issue for me - the files to upgrade to .14 just aren't there.

I have been contemplating upgrading my site from 2.0.13.1 to 2.0.14 for some time now. My addy is www.greenvillefirstwesleyan.com and had been running in production mode with little to no issues for quite sometime now. I am anxious to see some of the moves that have been made with the upgrades. My problem is that it is recommended (a belive me when I have no desire to do anything else) to upgrade to 2.0.14 and that the files can be located at Sourceforge.net - there is actually a link provided here that takes you straight to the file download section of sourceforge for those stated upgrade files. Once there it has all the upgrade files one using XOOPS of any version would need WITH THE EXCEPTION (this isn't yelling - just emphasis) of 2.0.14. I thought about going ahead and upgrading to 2.0.13.2 but then decided it better to just make the jump to 2.0.14 (if I am going to bite the bullet, might as well make it worth my effort - lol). If anyone has the upgrade files or a link to the file it would be greatly appreciated, also any suggestions or links to documentation on upgrading from 13.1 to 14 would be helpful as well. I have been using XOOPS for about 3 years now and can assure you - it is my CMS of choice and I have no desire to switch to any other CMS (I have used a couple others briefly). I am also hoping that the changes made will be beneficial as my current site:http://www.greenvillefirstwesleyan.com is just the beginning of that line of sites. I will probably be creating quite a few church sites for this denomination in my area (as well as our District Website). I am possibly going to move from my shared hosting server and try and get a dedicated (depending on price) as well.

One other thing while I am in here, and if someone could help with - I mentioned that I use a shared hosting company. When I signed up for the account it was originally for a gaming community website:http://www.a3eclan.com. I let that site go dormant as I was without Internet for about a year. During that time my hosting company was attacked majorly and the server I was on was lost. After getting back on and checking that it was down I decided to use it for my church. The company actually gave me their largest account (E-Commerce size) for my same 32.00 a year for the life of my account - only stipulation - I CAN'T change my main domain - something in the rules. Right now I have greenvillefirstwesleyan parked there and redirecting to www.a3eclan.com so at least people can type in their normal addy - problem is (and most people don't realize this) after they get there of course everything is www.a3eclan.com 9most people once at a site rarely look at the addy bar). My issue is how can I put some sort of alias. Also - if I change hosting companies - MySQL is probably littered with a3eclan everywhere.

Right now my upgrade is of more importance to me - but any help on the other question would be welcomed as I actually have ventured into a realm that is a little bit out of my reach (as of now - I am still a novice in this area).

Thanks for listening to me ramble - Sincerely - Troy.

BTW - yes..many gramatical errors - I am at work and being rushed

Ok - after racking my brain - I have come to a standstill. I have installed, reinstalled, deleted, edited, reinstalled, redownloaded and repeated the process all over again, but to no avail. I can install xRoster 2.0 with no problems what so ever. I can manually add users to the xRoster with no problems. My problem is that when a user uses the application - it does not update the xRoster DB (As in it doesn't send their info to the database so I can approve them). Also - admin and user can hang it up alike if their is a "v" in their email addy - just doesn't recognize it for whatever reason, deletes the "v" and turns tgravel@a3eclan.com into tgrael@a3eclan.com. Anywhooo - I know I have had some PM's and some help in these forums - but I believe even the person helping me is at a standstill. If anyone has a working copy of xRoster 2.0 and would like to email that to me, it would be very much appreciated. I believe the copy that I have, and am downloading over and over, is corrupted somehow, which is why I keep running into the same problem. I used the link that was posted in these forums. Please help - as my Clan (Gaming Community) could really use this program. From what I have seen it looks exactly what I need. After I get a working, fuctional copy, I would be more than willing to donate for the use of this Module. Sincerely, Troy Gravel.

Found out a little more info that might help - when I manually add a person to the Roster - everything works fine - ie: the "v" is not missing. Apparently all this occurs only when submitting an application. So two things are happening - The Approve New Member function isn't showing anyone (Apparently nothing is going there) and the emails are not getting sent out (They do if I change the admin email to something without a "v" in it. When the emails go to the new address - it will show the email addy from the person applying (but again if they have a "v" in their email it is missing).

I hope these two posts are something to go on.
