News 1.31 Comments and Read More...

I have been having a few problems with the new news module (I posted about the blocks issue in another post, but I just noticed another issue, which is much more important to me. The Read More... and the Comments links are blocking everyone to the site except for me (anonymous, registered, moderators, and even the custom group that has news submission access). All the group access looks to be set correct, and I have allow anonymous comments allowed for the news module, yet still the no permission screen. Is there any way to fix this problem, if not how do I downgrade modules correctly w/out losing my news articles (if so which news should I downgrade to?). Thanks so much in advance!

News 1.31 Problem

I'm currently using the news 1.31RC2 on 2.0.10, and I am having problems w/ the recent news block, as long as I keep the settings default it works fine, but as soon as I change something, like turn on spotlight, or add a teaser length the block disappears completely and I have to upgrade the module to get it to come back.

debaser categories problem

I just noticed that my debaser isn't showing the right count for files in the category for anonymous and registered users, only I'm getting the right count. I have 2 categories, Audio and Video, and Audio has 1 sub-category. The sub-category correctly shows that there's 19 files, but the main categories show (0)...while there are 4 in Videos and 1 in Audio.

I just installed 1.3.1 now (my old recent news block would only show the topic, not the article).
Now I can't get the block to display anything, if i turn on spotlight or not, the block just isn't showing up.

News on front page

Is there a way to make the news show up on the main page w/out the site going to the /modules/news/ directory?

I also have the same problem, I am having XOOPS 2.0.10 RC2, but I don't see a download for that to the full version, what do I do to update it? Sorry for such a newb question.

All the files I've been trying are wmvs...I tried a wmv below 1mb and it worked.
I don't think I have access to php.ini so I will ask the admin.

Edit: my site host said;

I only have a basic php knowledge, so what exactly should I put in php.ini, and should I put it in the main XOOPS directory?

Edit smilies problem

If I try to edit the smilies I get an error when I hit Submit
