Multi Article News Spotlight

Is there any way to use the spotlight features in the recent news block to show more than 1 article? I like the way the block is laid out, much more than having my start page be news. But I do not like that it will only show the latest article, I can do a teaser of the others, but this does not work right as it will show the read more text in the same screen. Is there a hack or something that would allow the spotlight to show more than the 1 article? Thanks.

Are the left center and right center blocks supposed to always be at the bottom of the blocks list? Because If I set a center block to 1, a left center and a right center to 2, and a center to 3, the left center and right center ones will end up on the bottom, so it'll basically be;

BlueWX theme problem

The BlueWX theme was released in a news article. It's a really nice theme, but it only looks right in IE, not firefox. The blue bar on the top right doesn't line up right in Firefox. I would really like to use this theme, but I do not have a good enough knowledge of CSS and theme building to do fix it myself, if anyone knows how to fix this firefox error that would really be great, thanks.

The site that the theme is from appears to be under construction, you can view it on my site here and you can still download it from their site here.

Cool, didn't find that post while searching. But I'm glad I posted it anyway as yours was buried in another topic, I will look into efqdirectory. I really hope that someone here can do this as XOOPS is by far my favorite CMS, and I think this module would be very popular (and useful).

Google Maps and Xoops

There have recently been a lot of sites that have "hacked" Google maps, to display custom places, like cheap gas and houses for sale. I think a module that would allow custom info to be mapped by google would be incredible, and would really set XOOPS apart from other cmss. I found a tutorial on how to integrate google maps into your own site here. I don't have much programming knowledge or I would attempt this myself.
The ideas I had for the module would be for a real estate site, so you could enter in the address and then any other customizable fields you want. Like for the real estate site I would have a price field, taxes... I'd basically want to be able to add listings (and then have a way to de-activate them once they are sold). But I know this would be useful for many more sites than just real estate. Travel, local entertainment, store chains, anything really. As long as the fields that it displays are customizable.
I'm hoping something like this can be integrated with Xoops, as I love XOOPS and Google Maps, and I think they would work really well together!
