If you can't wait more than one day for an answer maybe you shouldn't use Any package...

Maybe you should just crawl home and hide in your room waiting for someone to hold you hand to go to the bathroom too...

I think that might take a while because all the hosting companies will have to start implimenting php 5 before XOOPS can really work with php 5. I wish my hosting company would use php 5, they told me that they aren't ready to upgrade and that php 4 would work just fine.

I wish there was a better module too.

Thanks for answering so fast! I should have figured that's what blocks did. I was just confused when I first saw it.

Thanks for the quick reply! You guys are great! Maybe when I have some time I can work on some modules that don't exsist yet. Well maybe I'm being too ambitious. Some day I will though.

I'm fairly new to XOOPS and I think it's amazing that this is all free. I'm just wondering how many developers there are and if they are getting paid to do this. Do they get contributions from the paypal stuff on the side or does that even cover the cost of the hosting? And who are they anyways? Are these just good people who do this after work for free or what? I'm just curious.

I've been looking at posts for a few hours and I can't seem to find something that shows how to setup more than one module on a page. Like the home page of XOOPS with forums and news.

Thanks

Would it be possible to do a site using XOOPS that would like the same before xoops. I mean it can be different but a similar layout with the menu across the top? Here's the sites I want to do.

http://sun-enews.com
http://proe.com

Thanks

Sharing a profile across different communities

Currently the company I work for has 8 communities written in thrown together php code. Is there anything we can do to tie the profiles of all the users together so one profile is good for 8 sites?

I'm really interested in this and will write it if it doesn't exist.

Thanks
