Yeah, XOOP is the best! I have to lot to think about to make this happen. I will need to write a global module that will tie one user profile to a main server and have multiple copies of XOOPS out there on different servers running on one profile. I have used SOAP before I guess I'll have to refresh myself with it. I hear the new PHP 5 comes with a SOAP api built in now so I'll have to get that working.

You don't Need to move your site to a different folder but I think it would be a good move. If you don't want to move it then you could have a page that forwards using javascript with a regular link on the page as well. Google will crawl that. OR... I just thought of this. If you have access to httpd.conf you can just change the site folder that apache points to with a virtual map... or maybe not.

See... we currently have a cms and we want to add forums to it and I'm trying to put together something that says why add forums and other things when XOOPS already comes with it all. So I'm comparing what they want me to add to what comes with XOOPS.

The file sharing is my downloads.

I've been working on making a list of features other forums have and comparing them with XOOPS. We currently have a site package and we're looking to incorporate forums but XOOPS does more than our current package does. I'm trying to convince the company I work for to go with XOOPS for 200-300 web sites in the next year. It would be great because I would be able to work on modules professionally and the community would gain a huge number of sites. Here's what I have so far. Any suggestions would be a great help!

Look for comText in the css. That's probably what you should change.

I've been looking in the downloads for a paid subscription module. I thought I had seen one before but I can't find it now. Am I crazy or does it exsist?
