Check out the project page on dev.xoops.org.

Ryan (fatman) has just released a version of NoAh 0.9, which is a beauty to install, and seems to work a breeze (haven't had time yet to test extensivly).

Also have a look at the extensive Wiki Ryan has prepared.

Glad to see someone else interested in this brilliant project.

By the way, would you be interested in joing us for the first Sydney XOOPS Users Meeting? Would like to get to meet those using XOOPS, especially in a professional environment

Have a nice weekend mate, and enjoy the great weather, as it's starting to turn cold lately.

I have discovered a couple of mistakes and missing translation variables, which I will take care of later in the day.

Also, in admin there is '_MI_RECETTE_LNK', which leads to a page with the menu, but contains nothing. Am I missing something?

PM me, if you would like me to send you the next version directly per email

I have created the english language files, by translating the german (comme mon france est tres mal).

You can download them from here.

I would appreciate any editorial feedback!
(spelling mistakes, grammar, terminology consistency)

I could do a write up of our first Sydney XOOPS User Group Meeting, if this is regarded as appropriate.

Excellent!

The first person has RSVP'd for our first Sydney XOOPS User Group MeetUp.

I know I posted this at an inconvenient time, so hopefully a new appearance on the front page, will serve as a reminder, to those that might have missed this posting

I still haven't been into town to check for a convenient location, but if anyone has any suggestions, we're an open group, and just like XOOPS, we depend on Community Participation, which makes any suggestions, an appreciated contribution

The only need we have for the location, is wireless access. Besides chatting and telling each other, how great XOOPS is, we will also gather to exchange experiences, and help each other out where needed.

So, grasp this chance, and join us.

People from Melbourne, or anywhere else are of course also welcome, if you can pay for your own fair

I find it very difficult to follow you, sorry but maybe this thread will help.

Do you know of the two Brasil Support Sites? Brasil has a very active community, as I understand.

XOOPS Brasil
AND
Brasil Support

Wouldn't that make your life easier?

Sorry, for not being able to understand your efforts correctly. Hope you do find your answer

I'm getting the mentioned error message
Quote:

Error: Unable to move file.
SP:/home/htdocs/web17/phptmp/php2mbsvN
DP:http://themeforge.xoopsfactory.net/uploads/docrep/1/1/1/1000005.datNotice

Warning [PHP]: move_uploaded_file(http://themeforge.xoopsfactory.net/uploads/docrep/1/1/1/1000005.dat): failed to open stream: HTTP wrapper does not support writeable connections. in file modules/dms/file_import.php line 55
Warning [PHP]: move_uploaded_file(): Unable to move '/home/htdocs/web17/phptmp/php2mbsvN' to 'http://themeforge.xoopsfactory.net/uploads/docrep/1/1/1/1000005.dat' in file modules/dms/file_import.php line 55

I have made the changes in the files mentioned, to no avail. I checked the apropriate directory and the folders listed after DP: have not been created.

"If the path is not being created, try using the "chown" command to change the owner of the repository directory to the same user that Apache is running under."
We're on a hosted service, and I wouldn't know how to do this, could you help me out?

Thanks

@kenmcd: Thanks for taking on this task!

From what you have written, I'm very much convinced, that you are the right person to take control of this.

I'm quite bussy with other XOOPS related stuff, but would like to help where possible. You can count on my input!

Let us know, how you want to organize the team. Would a mailing list be appropriate at first? And how should all those ideas that have been uttered in this thread be organized? As I see it, these are all rather scattered through the thread, which is difficult to comprehend. Further, it is discouraging to possible contributors, as they have to wade through a lot of topic. What about a wiki, to which only team members have access?

Regards
JasonMR
