The copy I have is working with PHP5. Zyspec helped me fix it, and it took several changes. But that's not the released version. To my knowledge, no patch has been released yet.

Before patching, I was getting white pages with PHP5. Others may still be getting them and, if so, may have given up. Then there is the question of whether it works with 2.0.18.1 and, now, 2.30. We can, of course, test it ourselves, but, IMHO, we need a current version--at least 3.0RC2.

Sure would be nice to hear from Tripmon and/or Zyspec.

It's been a loooonnnnng time since 3.0RC1, and I understood that 3.0RC2 was forthcoming a while back. As far as I know, the current version of mxDir still does not work with PHP5. And what about XOOPS 2.0.18.1? Or 2.30?

How abut it Tripmon & Zyspec? We haven't heard from you guys in a while. This is a super module, and many people need it to work with PHP5 and now XOOPS 2.30. Could we maybe get a little update?

I am setting up some forum categories for emergency notifications so that users can get real-time notifications of important events, and I would like for them to be able to send certain notifications to their mobile phones.

Naturally, they don't want their phones blasted with every notification--just certain ones.

Ideally, they could have multiple email addresses for notifications and choose which one(s) for a particular notification, but that's not available now.

I can't think of a way to do this, and there may indeed not be. I would appreciate any thoughts on the matter. I know I'm going to be asked, and I want to be ready.

What I want is simple, clean, and straight-forward, tabular, & text only, like:

Resized Image

I think that all of the little icons are distracting and confusing and just too cutesy for my taste.

I like GIJoe's MyAlbum-P, but I do not like the templates, icons, etc. I prefer a simpler layout like extGallery, which I will be using, also, in another capacity.

Does anyone know of other templates available for MyAlbum?

Yeah, you can use d3forum for comment integration only. You can install it with any directory name you wish, "comments" for example.

Sounds like a good idea, but how to do it is another story. From what little I can find at GIJoe's site, you have to modify the templates of each and every module on your site, and the instructions are not clear as to where to put the code he gives. And what about modules not specifically mentioned? How are those templates modified?

And I hope the comment import is a one time thing at the first and not for every comment.

All in all, it doesn't look so easy.

Interesting. I'm going to attempt to use that while still keeping cbb as my main forum as I've grown quite fond of it. Thanks for the reply.

That's an interesting thought. I, too, like CBB much better. Thanks for the idea.

Sounds reasonable to me. Hard to do, though, if your IP has been banned. Wonder what GI Joe would think of Protector being used this way?

I guess the module just doesn't work.

Moving on.
