Okay I found a thread that answers this question. I didn't find it in my annitial seach, the keywords must of been wrong.

How ever if anyone else has the same problem this gets the modual working

Im having this very problem, how ever when looking for thisQuote:
/modules/ircmod/cache/irconfig.php

Its not there. all thats in the cache is an index.htm
Was the download I got faulty?

also when I try to edit the IRC config, its blanc again, could this mean its not actully saving the settings?

XOOPS 2.0.9 Beta worth it?

Hi all,

My sites been down now for nearly a month, after my hosts upraded their servers to PHP 5.

I have seen that XOOPS 2.0.9 Beta is out, but have been waiting for the none beta version to come out.

Is it worth waiting anylong or should I just bite the bullet and install the beta version?

I just got a news letter from my webspace hosts and they are upgrading their server to php 5.0.2 by the end of the month

I need to know, is it worth upgrading to XOOPS 2.0.8?

If not then my site, that I (and you great guys in the forum), have worked hard on for the last 6 months is DOOMED!!!

k a bit mellow dramtic but gets the point across

okay maybe you kno answer to this

I go into the galeria menu (via administration menu) and got to catagory. I enter name and press save. page refreshes and says its updating, I then get this

The catagory is there, but i dont get to give it permissions

Any idea?

Is there a FAQ or tut for it (the one it links to is no longer valid). Im having some difficulties finding the permissions bit you spoke of as well as uploading pictures.

need two gallerys?

I work on a security groups website.

They orginally wanted a photogallery for private use, and after looking around I decided on "my Album".

They then requested a gallery for public use, but wanted to keep the private one. So I tried to fiddle about with "my album" so I could set up a public catagory as wells as having a private one. This could not be done.

So without looking into it (the furom search being down and all) I just uploaded a second gallery modual "XCGallery" to be a public gallery. And guess what now "My Album" doesn't work.

So theres the history

The question is,

Is there a Gallery modual out there where its possible to be able to set up a main private catagory as well as a Public one?

okay so I got the menus working

Got the menu titles to look like they belong to the theme

now the final thing and everything should be sorted

When i got to the "topic options" drop down menu, it goes over my "user name" drop down menu, which shows over the "topic options" menu, when i move the curser down the list it hits the "username" and opens that instead. Therefore I cant get to the make topic stick, locked, etc etc...

Any ideas here pred?

I just installed the newbb2 modual.

This modual has dropdown menus.

I have manged to change the style.css in my theme to change the actule dropdown menu.
ul {margin: 0px; padding: 0px; list-style: decimal inside; text-align: center; background-color: transparent; color: #ffffff;}  
.level1 {background-color: transparent;}  
.level2 {background-color: transparent;}  
li {margin-left: 0px; list-style: square inside; background-color: transparent; color: #ffffff;}
div#content {text-align: left; padding: 8px; background-color: #000000;}  
.submenu {background-color: transparent;}


but cant figure out how to change the dropdown menu titles background colour

The dropdowns menu title is set to
#2F5376
I dont want it set to this colour.

I have searched for this colour in my styles.css and it is not there

any ideas?
