Yes indeed Slyss, it's a great improvement for me!
It works perfect...

Nevertheless, I am searching for a similar but more specific hack. I appreciate your contribution but unfortunately it is not what I want.

I want to manage banners in blocks not only limited within modules but within pages in that module. I'll give an example:
I want to show a specific banner in the module news on this story:
../modules/news/article.php?storyid=1
I want to show a different specific banner on
../modules/news/article.php?storyid=2

Can that be done? Is it what others also want/need?
Please give your feedback.

Checking multiple categories when submitting an address in Addresses module

I use the Addresses module. I can select one of my categories with the selectbox when I submit a new address.

Now some addresses belongs at more than one categorie.
So, I need to select my corresponding categories by checking checkboxes instead of select one category bij using the selectbox.

What do I have to do when I want to put this hack in the addresses module?

Had same problem. Fixed it thanks to this thread by repairing the xoops_session table.

Wonder why it happens. It looks it appears when the site got a lot of visitors. Every sunday between 11-14 my site has about 4000-5000 visitors. Today I checked CPU usage on my W2003 server with IIS 6.0 and saw a CPU usage of 100% at that time. My server is a QUAD with 2Gb memory... It appears to me that the hardware is not the problem.

BTW my XOOPS is still 2.0.7.3

Had similar problems but solved it by using the FASTCGI module.

Thanx to Herko and the guys at http://www.iis-resources.comI solved the problem.
At last changed to FASTCGI in stead of ISAPI.

I am a happy guy but I still wonder what's the difference and why it happens with ISAPI

I tried XOOPS 2.06.
Same security settings etc...
This works fine.
So, can I conclude there is a bug in XOOPS related to IIS6?
For now I wil go further with 2.06. Or... can anyone convince me I made the wrong conclusion?

Look at the working site (AFTER 48 hours from now down ))

Well I am using that one...
However I don't think it is a problem with XOOPS, it's the only thing I didn't try.

Thank you Herko for the quick response.
I used http://www.iis-resources.com/ as a reference.
I will post a message there also...

As far as a read, know a see access right ar set right. Similar to the other machine running XOOPS succesfully.
And I tried setting debug to MySQL debug. (it's descriebed in XOOPS for DUMMIES.
So I set it but even then there was no debug info.

Since a few months I am using XOOPS succesfully on Windows2003 server (IIS)
Now on a different machine with a fresh installation of Windows 2003 (and essential fixes), MySQL 3.23.58 and PHP 4.3.9 the trouble starts.
Installationproces works fine. I even can login as admin.
I can access the administration menu (wwwroot/admin.php)
Trouble starts when entering the system admin menu (wwwroot/modules/system/admin.php) for setting my preferences etc.
There is a blank page.
For several days know I am struggling with this problem I followed the instruction at the WIKI troubleshoot part and XOOPS for Dummies.
I learned a lot but the problem is not fixed. There is no error message at all. Even after following all instruction from the sites I mentioned.

After all I installed the machine again with a fresh Windows2003, PHP and MySQL (same versions)
Start all over again... Same problem, No solution

For now I ask for your help. I can't get it fixed.
You can look at http://62.194.241.137 and login with username: admin and password: xoops
You will see the default theme, Logging in will work, clicking the administration menu wil work. But entering the system menu for setting preferences, grouppermissions etc. will NOT work. It seems to me that is quit necesserily.

So please try, see and give your reaction.

When you need more information please ask for it.
