Catz,
the main point I wanted to make is not to judge you for being good or bad but whether I think you would make a good leader in Xoops.
As a normal member, I've no information about the back stabbing, lobbying and so on which goes on behind the scenes. I can only base my opinion on what I see posted on this site - and I make no pretence about the fact that I don't read the majority of postings.
I'm impressed that you answered my post directly - I think in your position, I'd have found that difficult. However, I see you didn't address my point about your flames - and this is basically my main point. There are situations where your style of soft skills fits - I just don't think XOOPS is one of these situations.

Hallo,
when I first discovered Xoops, WfSections was one of the best modules available and I can remember being more than pleased when Catzwolf took the time to answer one of my first postings here.
However, in between times I have followed not only his positive contributions but also coming and going (partly due to ill health, his starting a XOOPS fork, and his flame postings.
Whilst XOOPS is more a technically oriented organisation, this does not mean that interpersonal skills are not just as important as in other organisations - in particular with our culture of open discussions.
If no one else will say it, then I will: I do not think that it will be good for someone to be given an important position in XOOPS who, when the going get rough, is known to use the abusive manner which Catzwolf has used in the past.
IMO appointing Catzwolf to a position of authority will quickly lead to a rapid decline in the number of people who do not share Catzwolf's view.
A community such as XOOPS needs leadership with other, better developed soft skills. One can develop such skills, and a thicker skin, but I'd like to see that Catzwolf had really changed before assigning him so much responsibility - probation in a lesser position perhaps.

hi,
as I looked at these modules (about 2 years ago) TinyD was the duplicable version of Tiny Content, which meant that I could install it more than once and thereby achieve a more flexible information structure (i.e. several entries in the XOOPS standard menu)

Sato-San:
Is where can I find the Capchta hack/module? Your posting is the only mention of it on this site, and Google doesn't help either.
Thanks in advance

A great answer Michael.
I see it exactly the same way myself.

Hi Brenda,
why not start to produce your own content?
A blog, if you like - there's a module for this too. Review things or events you see or do - give your version of local news & events - and don't be afraid to add your own opinion.
Good Luck,
Alan
