oops... I found the mistake.
It's not the module but the translation.
I think this is during FTP transfert ? or somethink else.
I had an incorrect char in my french file.
it's ok now.

The consequence of this issue was I can't see the topic menu....

thanks for your help

It should be in the drop-down menu for "Topics Options"

Thank you.

I'm working on all the modules to make them more consistent and news shouldn't be far behind. I only put that module on yesterday but have already started on it.

Im having problems with the blocks and them not adhering to width as a '%'. I guess its because they are inheriting size from somewhere else other that the page size.
Any ideas? When i enable the side bar one of the top or bottom blocks become bigger than the rest unless i state a maximum size in 'px', which intern breaks using the '%'. Make sense??

Tried the link you but it appears the site is down at the moment or at least it is for me. Will keep checking. Thanks.

I think we should release a stable version of this great module until we could find time and skills to add great features. here is my ideas about it:

1- No feature will be added from RC to stable version.
2- The stable version will only work with 2.5.7 because of big structural changes.
3- All plugin.php configurations will be moved to module preferences for simplicity. include:
3-1- add an understandable option for changing interface buttons:
- image buttons
- CSS buttons
- text links
3-2- dropping unused options and revised others eg: valid_menumodes is unused

4- drop old templates and use full div templates. I hope a theme designer could provide us a better template.

5- Fixing bugs if there is any? honestly I cannot find any by myself. So we need your experiences .
Please write your opinions about the above-mentioned ideas. It will help to find the right way.
I hope we could release the stable version in one or two weeks.

Hi philou
Im glad that you test newbb latest version.
Actually the latest version compatible with xoops < 2.5.7 (2.5.6 and olders) is 4.33 RC7
there is 2 big changes in 2.5.7 structure that make module incompatible:
1- assets
2- renaming templates extension from .html to .tpl

by the way i cant reproduce this bug. you can lock a topic if you have permissions.

Sorry the version given on frxoops is not ok... in fact this is a 4.33 RC7
I use xoops 2.5.6

I use newbb since more than 10 years but right now, unfortunatly I don't see the lock functionality
Perhaps is it due to the template...

These messages are not related to Uploading, and are just info for the developer to make some updates to the code, but they don't cause any issue for the user.

What version of PHP, XOOPS and News do you have?

Were you able to upload files previously? Or are you trying to do it for the first time and it's just not working?
