Make sure your permissions are set in the user groups and that you activate the module. News is now deactivated by default

He's just saying it's a typo. It currently says "Display diclaimer" not "Display disclaimer". It's missing the 's' in disclaimer.

the who is online display where you are brownsing and if have more users in the same module too appear.

Another one to add...

In the who's online block, it's suppose to show where users are browsing, but it only shows where you are browsing.

In the news modules, I am not able to uncheck the 'Disable HTML' checkbox in at least one of my news posts. The post has html in it, so it looks ugly.

Also, in user preferences, close to the bottom, there is "Display diclaimer?", it should be disclaimer.

i'm actually setting up XOOPS as an intranet. i'm no dev, but i'm learning alot about php and MySQL as i go along and i'm definitely benefitting from the experience.

alot of modules that have been created are useful and easily adaptable to what i need. currenltely a few guys are workin on a module that i just happen to need.

the support is fantastic. XOOPS rules!
