using XOOPS 2.3.2b, news 1.63

i cannot upload certain pdf's using the attach file feature of the module.

what should i be checking?

i have max file size in php.ini to 800 M.

i seem to have less problems with smaller pdf's (less than 1mb)

how can we add some space around the images when adding them into our pages via the image manager?

example: the news module. when adding an image to the story, the text runs too close to the image. some white space needs to exist around the image.

i'm sure once i know which files to look into, i can add a css style for the image to put a white border around the image.

problem... i dont' know what file(s) to edit!

thanks!!!

is it possible to set the default sort order for the imagemanager pictures to sort by newest first?

currently the oldest images are at the start of the list, so when users add a new image, they must navigate to the last page/end of list....

how about a user customizable contact form generator that also allows for file attachments?

this would be a VERY usefull tool for intranet usage of xoops.

but would mail exchanger append periods to the end of email addresses on a website?

www.attitudesforeducation.com/modules/archcontact

this is an example. this appears all over the website, wherever i insert an email address.

even if i manually insert the mailto tag into the code, a period still gets appended...

this is weird.
