After checking the server settings, windows-1256 was already added.

The problem fixed by disable check encoding via rules in security_mod .. the question is why this problem not happened when I use search page of some modules such as xhelp ?

Same problem with IE8, Firefox and Opera, and with default theme too.

PHP 5.3.1
MySQL version 5.0.90-community
Apache version 2.2.14

At localhost ( AppServ ) working fine with PHP 5.2.6 and MySQL 5.0.51b.

The only change that made search working fine is changing the charset in theme.html from windows-1256 to utf-8, so it is look like the server not accept my windows-1256.

I'm hoster and everything is ok in my server, I think this is encoding problem, I can search by english word and this error just appear when search by arabic word.

in xhelp 0.79 we need to update the db from modules/xhelp/admin/upgrade.php?op=checkTables

This is may fix some errors.

During testing Xhelp 0.79 ES Utf8 with grafics jpgraph with:
Apache version 2.2.14
PHP version 5.3.1
MySQL version 5.0.90-community

I got this error when access to modules/xhelp/index.php?op=staffViewAll :

0.000036 - SELECT * FROM `users` WHERE uid IN ()
Error number: 1064
Error message: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ')' at line 1

Edit smartsection/class/form-editcategory.php file and replace XoopsThemeForm with XoopsForm at line 22.

I think there are function in publisher check if jquery.js is exist or not before load own js file but I don't know where and how it work.
