When I try to view a ticket as just a registered user - I get this error message:

Error number1064
Error message
You have an error in your SQL syntaxcheck the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ') AND t.status IN (1,2))' at line 2

I sure did - I get the same error and it messes up the header "Deprecated: Call-time pass-by-reference has been deprecated in C:\wamp\www\modules\xhelp\index.php on line ###"
about 100 times.

So that didn't work.

During testing Xhelp 0.79 ES Utf8 with grafics jpgraph with:
Apache version 2.2.14
PHP version 5.3.1
MySQL version 5.0.90-community

I got this error when access to modules/xhelp/index.php?op=staffViewAll :

0.000036 - SELECT * FROM `users` WHERE uid IN ()
Error number: 1064
Error message: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ')' at line 1

Did you assign staff members?

I think what is meant is that a user should be able to assign/select a user name To whom the ticket is intended for, instead of assigning a ticket to a department. I think it should be enabled so it provides flexibility for end users, probably at the admin side so admins can choose which option to provide ie. either Department or a username and/or both so user can choose to assign a ticket to a user or a department.

I think most times users are not aware of the staff members in a department. But they know their problem is eg for facturation. All staff members or department leader get the incoming request and can then assign the problem to the member that is best fit or has most time to resolve it. From then on replies go directly to the staff member.

in xhelp 0.79 we need to update the db from modules/xhelp/admin/upgrade.php?op=checkTables

This is may fix some errors.
