If you want the users to see the full post open up /modules/newbb/xoops_version.php

and change the following:
$modversion['notification']['event'][6]['admin_only'] = 1;

to:
$modversion['notification']['event'][6]['admin_only'] = 0;


Then go to System -> Modules and Update the forum module.

holo2:

Browse in your Windoze Explorer to the mainfile.php --> rightclick on that file and click on the security tab. Look for the |usr line and select that.

You will see that the option to write is not checked so do that, confirm with ok. Continue with your installation...

You also need to make the "cache, template_c and upload" directorys writable...

Could not write into mainfile.php. Please check the file permission and try again.

everything is fine till i hit this stage.

The "Notification Options" for the admin include,
"Notify me of any new posts (include full text in message)."
However when I'm logged in as a user I only see,
"Notify me of any new posts."
The option to include full text does not appear.
What am I doing wrong?

hey this sounds really great..
i use firebird and dont want switch back to ie only because of a wysiwyg editor..

very nice to hear that someone try to work on a firebird compatible solution...

what about the alpha version?

well I just tried accessing that script:http://www.sharetrader.com.au/modules/mytrades/go.php and I got this error message:

Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in d:\home\sharetrader\modules\mytrades\go.php on line 50

Perhaps this error is preventing the inclusion to occur?

Wow, finily i almost got it working.
I found the Wiki guide, dit what is says and now, it almost worked. I think that it wasn't the smartest move to edit the phpkoax. Wenn everything work, I will post my url.

But, thanks anyway..
(and forgive me my bad english, im only 15 jears old and i'm Dutch)
