Hello, I have XOOPS 2.0.5 and yesterday I changed my host. After that I got several error's!

How did I change host? I changed the mainfile, make a complete copy of al my file's and transfer them to my new host. Then I wrote the database to a file, and at my new host I runned the querrie's

Everything (exept the menutemplate) seams normal. If I enter my admin menu, it still does. BUT if I click on a menuitem, I go back to my homepage and I get the error: Module does not exist. This is with every item. Al the default modules in the site doesn't work either. I think that it has something to do with de database, but the text is displayd well. So, the password and login are correct!

Maby it has something to do with the virital path. I have a lot trouble with it. I ask for those 2 url by my host and the answer he give didn't work. Than I run the instal to let him detect it. After that te site worked, but the most things didn't display. After a few try's I changed in the following value's:

Quote:

/ XOOPS Physical Path
// Physical path to your main XOOPS directory WITHOUT trailing slash
define('XOOPS_ROOT_PATH', '/var/www/html/');

// XOOPS Virtual Path (URL)
// Virtual path to your main XOOPS directory WITHOUT trailing slash
define('XOOPS_URL', '');

My host says:
Quote:
Uw root pad is: /home/virtual/site195/fst/var/www/html
of virtual: /var/www/html

So, this is al the info I can give. I hope that anybody would help me.

P.s. Forgive me my bad english, I'm Dutch!

No, that doesn't help. But the problem only appears by more than 6blocks, so maybe we can do it at another way.
This is my suggestion:
We make a block with a couple of links that links to the concerned block with the correct piece of apparatuur. We can make those "blocks" (the sections with the piece of appartuur)in a separate html file. But the problem is that I don't know how to link to a .html file so that it is in the "part of the page that is meant to place text" (don't know the exact word in englis)

Does any of you know?

Hmm, It is the same module, so that isn't the problem I think.

EDIT:
But if I copy the sourcecode, paste it in dreamweaver and view it in browser the same thing occured!

A small question this time. If I add a poll then they come stand under each other. I will gladly have them beside
each other, is that possible?. I have already tried much, but I have no id how I exactly can do that. Thanks in advance!

Yep, that's my problem
Between the section with the block and the menubar should be no space at all!

I hope you can help!

The problem is on this part of my site:
http://members.lycos.nl/luijtenduidelijk/html/modules/empty5/index.php

I think that everybody have seen the problem, it is with the great blank screen. This happens always if I put to much blocks at one module.

Does anybody know's how I can fix it?

P.S. Maybe it is the module, cause it is a very simple one.

Quote:
Index.php:
<?php
include "../../mainfile.php";
include XOOPS_ROOT_PATH."/header.php";
include_once XOOPS_ROOT_PATH."/footer.php";
?>

I was working on a site, and there were severall blocks active. Everything worked fine and no probs so far.

But after a couple months I came to my site and it was empty. There was no text or anything. Wenn I went to the blocks menu, it was completly empty.

And my simple question is; does somebody know what's happend?

Roy

P.s. forgive me my bad english, I'm dutch
