Great news today - PHP 8.3 has been released!
As you can see from the picture, the first test looks promising!
It was tested with Smarty 4
Currently we're working on finalizing the upcoming XOOPS 2.5.11, that will include Smarty 3, and will be compatible with PHP 7.4 and partially with PHP 8.1
As soon as we release XOOPS 2.5.11, we'll start working on the next version, that will include Smarty 4, and will be fully compatible with PHP 8.3
Based on the above test, it shouldn't take too much time.
