These elections will be held in two rounds: first there will be 2 weeks time for you to nominate the XOOPS.org member you feel should be eligeble for the title. Then, when we have compiled the list of nominees, we want
you to decide who wins in a two week voting!

winners will get great prizes! We've found some people at some companies who have graciously agreed to donate a prize to the winners of these elections!

5 categories in which you can nominate and vote:
Category A:
Best Code Contributor. This category is for the XOOPSer who you feel has done his or her best to enhance the stability, security, speed and maturity of the XOOPS Core system. This does not have to be the biggest number of patches, or hacks, or most lines of code submitted, nor the most popular hack, it can be the person you feel has contributed most to the core of the system.
The winner of this category gets a Safari Booshelf subscription, donated by O'Reilly publishers!Category B:
Best Module Developer. This category is for the XOOPSer who you feel has contributed most to the development of clean, fast, feature rich modules for the XOOPS system. 2004 was the year of the modules, that's where the brunt of the progress in XOOPS development and popularity has been made. Please nominate a developer based on their work for module development in general, or for a specific module you like very much and had much bebefit from.
The winner of this category gets a Zend Studio 3.5 package, donated by our friends at Novell Developer Services!Category C:
Best Theme Designer. This category is for the XOOPSer who you feel has contributed most to the creation of awe inspiring, creative, effective, fast and beautifull XOOPS themes. This can range from having given inspiration, set an example, been the most creative with theme work, or has produced the most effective theme for a XOOPS powered website. Please nominate a designer who you feel is entitled to this category's prize:
a Wacom Graphire 3 4x5 tablet and the Design web usability book by Jacon Nielssen, donated by Hyperpod.net!Category D:
Best Community Supporter. This category is for the XOOPSer who has contributed most to the corenerstone of the XOOPS.org project: it's friendly and lively and ever helpful support community. In the past year there have been some changes in the support that members are getting with better documentation, theme and module repositories, an interactive FAQ and an improved support forum. No wonder our community has grown by more then a third. Please nominate a member of this community who you feel has done his or her best to mae all this possible.
The winner of this category gets an HP iPAQ h2210/h2215, donated by the XOOPS.org project itself!Category E:
XOOPSer of the Year! This category is reserved for those people who you feel has had a critical role in the progress the XOOPS.org project has made in the past year. This can be in any department: design, coding, module development, documentation, support, anything. So please nominate the member who you feel is entitled to the biggest honor of all: XOOPSer of the Year!
The winner of this category gets a special hosting prize donated by our friends at Surpass Hosting!These are the rulesThere will be 2 rounds to these elections. The first round is the nominations. This will be from january 10th 2005 till january 24th 2005.

- You can nominate only registered xoops.org members;
