Some month ago I learned about Xoops, installed it and today I proudly present my site.
I made this site for the local boy(&girl)-scouts, it offers on-line access for our members to our agenda, events, reports, announcements...
Xoops was just the answer for my problem updating our former static site
. Now every member (with the proper permissions) can contribute to the site without webmaster interference 
.

Long Awaited Roster Page
It is finished, yes the long looked for roster page for your XOOPS site is here. I hired a programmer 4 days ago and he has built the Roster Module with Application page, and all the admin features to customize it just for your XOOPS site.
The Application page you might have to manually edit to your need and the Roster Module was based on the OFX_Clan_Roster module for nuke php. Rather then try to port over the OFX_Clan_Roster module for nuke php we decided just to build a new module just for XOOPS site.
This module is great for all sites that need a roster page for members of their clan, band, org, team, business, etc etc. As for myself I have it on a gaming site and so far it is working swwet and smooth.

Security check for login/register using visual confirmation
A security check plug-in for xoops register and/or login.
How does it work:
1 The system generates a confirm id associated with a random code and stores it in a db table or in xoops_session table.
2 Meanwhile the random code will also be stored in a temporary file containing scripts protect against external scripts execution.
3 An image creation function will read the random code to create the confirmation image.
4 Once submitted, the typed code will be compared with the stored code.
5 An attempt limit is configurable.

Dune MUD
Dune MUD is a 13 years old game, and we now moved our site to XOOPS. We already see a grow in the amount of players we have, and our players especially like the newbb/myalbum modules - over 1000 posts and 40 pictures in less than two weeks.

New Module: AbiBase
AbiBase is a small module to keep track of information about the school, companions, teachers and class meetings of the graduate class (german: Abitur or Abi) in order to make it more easy to keep in touch with old school friends. For the moment it is provided with English, German and Italian language files. Be sure to read the readme.txt file for notes on the installation.
