Everything work fine in the server site. When I login from a remote host, I can login. But when I try to click on some module, XOOPS kick me out and said that I don't have the permission. I am using webmaster account to login. Please advise.

Some of the newer modules have their own permission systems. Have a look in admin/whatever module/permissions if it has it. You may need to set permissions to access categories you create in that module before you or anyone else can see them.

Thanks Madfish advise. I check the permission on all module installed. Configuration are OK. I use the same login account on server, all module & XOOPS work fine. Only, when I use the same login account (webmaster) login from a remote host, problem rise. Xcgallery, News, NewBB & WF_Download module were installed. I already login in, when I click on whatever, XOOPS said I do not have the permission and refer me to the login page. When I login again, I can view the page I want to go before kick out by xoops. But whatever button I click, the situation is the same. I was kick out again.

I had similar problems occasionally but thought it had something to do with the configuration/settings on the remote PC I was using. Sometimes I got kicked out on that PC, but I was able to log in afterwards.

I doubt this was helpfull but who knows

Is it just one remote PC that keeps kicking you out?

I was having this problem when i used my new domain name. Because it is hosted on a different server and works as a mask. It was causeing trouble logging in. I fixed this by putting in a redirect so my link didnt lead directly to my XOOPS site. This fixed this problem

This problem is usually caused because you logged into the site as http://www.yoursite.whatever and the link is to http://yoursite.whatever or visa-versa. The www makes a big difference.
