Users should be able to edit their own passwords by logging into your website and following the "Edit Account" link under their User Menu.

If you meant something else, then I'm sorry for the wrong info!

Hi

Try this: https://xoops.org/edituser.php

Look at "Password
(type a new password twice to change it)" fields.

It?s easy Wilkinsa

I wish it was that easy I currently have 'Extended profiles' installed and it dosnt seem to let you edit your own password a webmaster can but not you. NE Ideas?

It should be that easy. If you are using 2.2.X and you click on the Extended Profiles link, you should see your profile and a link above it to change password. There is also a submenu under Extended profiles. I've tested it logged on as an ordinary user and it works.

I am in the same situation. It is very odd but I can change a normal member's password by logging as an admin, but I can never change my admin password or change the password when logged in as a normal user....the field to change the password simply is not there!
