As I'm redoing a site, I'm looking for the contact module, but can't find it anywhere ??

Does the 'liaise' module run okay with XOOPS 2.0.16 ?

I'm just looking ofr a simple form for contact.

Thanks. :)

If you download one of the older versions of xoops2 you will find the 'contact us' module bundled inside it (in the modules directory).

Edit: I'll be submitting the module to the repository / doing the description for this one. When I get home from work!

Thanks, I found the 'contact' module in XOOPS 2.0.13.2 , it is quite old but I guess it is 'spam proof'.

Formulaire can be another option to use as contact module, liaise works ok too.

It looks like Liaise does work okay with 2.0.16. From the website of the author:

Quote:

Version 1.24 is the current stable release with a list of known bugs fixed, works under XOOPS 2.0.9 to 2.0.13.

and that is dated Jul 19, 2005 @11:30:54

I'm not 100% sure but I think there shouldn't be problems with liaise 1.26 < see here >

Yes, it looks like 1.26 will be okay with XOOPS 2.0.16

I see the contact module uses the standard (admin} email for the "To:" header

$xoopsMailer->setToEmails($xoopsConfig['adminmail']);

It would be nice if Liaise allowed me to specify some different email address, as there have been a few files to modify in 2.0.16 to 'hide' the XOOPS admin email address.

A suitably hacked (to include DuGris' SecurityImage) Liaise is running just fine onhttp://valentinewalton.co.uk. a 2.0.16 site. Search the forums here to details on how to hack liaise for this.

You define which XOOPS group to send the email to when when you set up the form. So if you want to send a sales enquiry to the sales manager, create a 'sales' group, add the manager id and select the group when you create/edit your form.
