I'm currently using e107 and considering the change to XOOPS but am curious about a module that I can review movies, music etc on.

Hi berzem, there is currently a review module called CJ-reviews that can be used with lots of hacking on your part, if however you are not into getting down and dirty a more generic review module is currently under development, if you do a search on this forum for reviews or myReviews you will find some recent threads pertaining to this topic. I am almost finished with the first development cycle of the generic myReviews module and will be distributing stable beta's to a selected few testers within the week, followed by a official release by the end of the month.

Man, I'm really lookng forward to your module

I love Xoops, but I'm still a bit missing Postnuke because of their review mod. The few review modules currently availabe for XOOPS are not generic enough. So I'm counting the days for your release

My biggest problem with CJ-Reviews right now is two fold...i can't get any changes I make to be saved (must be a permissions problem)...and I can't uninstall it!!! *sigh*

I liked that guy who pointed out the Disney review site...that would be da bomb.

Ok...I'm leaving now.

Hi all, as it was a loooooonnnngggg weekend here I got a lot of work done on the module and released it to an inhouse beta tester, will probably release it for beta testing to all the guys who asked by next week. Hopefully there are not to many changes, I still need to do the documentation, maybe tonight.
