eliminating an element from a theme - 7dana-soft

I have just started using XOOPS. I'm having a lot of fun with it. I'm using 7dana-soft as a theme. I would like to remove the iamge of the daisy and the text "welcome to my site" on the left. If this is not possible I'd like to at least modify the text in that section. I have scoured the site for it but cannot find it. Any one out there that uses this theme give a shout. Thank you ...

Best adice I can give you is a decent (no not notepad) text editor with advanced search & replace functionality will be forever you best friend if you are looking to modify exisiting content.

Get a good text editor (I use Crimson Editor), find out the name of the image then set your editor to go searching through your 7dana theme to find it.

look in [XoopsRoot]/themes/7dana-soft/theme.html

I might be stating the obvious, so please accept my appologies in advance if thats the case.

open /7dana-soft/theme.html and just delete(or edit) this code(line 114-118):

Thank you for the help everyone. I got it done! I am definitely getting more acquainted with CSS. It is helpful to know about these text editors... I'm looking at those now. Let the learning begin!!!
