Thank you Bender.

Yes, I use Firefox. I switched to default theme in firefox and it took the changes to the weight column.
I'm thinking there is an issue not only with FF but with the theme too.

I'll keep posting if anything else weird happens.

Hello everyone.

I've just installed XOOPS 2.0.14 and along with the system module I have liaise 1.24 and xoopsgallery 1.33.

I am using the theme 4metal by 4thefort.

I'm running this on apache 1.3.34, PHP 4.3.11 and MySQL 4.0.27

When I try to order the blocks (ex. login box below main menu)the numbers in the weight box don't remain changed to the value I've assigned. Rather they all go back to zero.

Any ideas why this is occuring? Help...

I did as you suggested. It works. Of course, I had to play around with it because the time stamp is off.

I miss the check box option to move a news story to the top. Old habits are hard to break I guess.

The little things can make a big difference in a managing a site. That check mark was pesky! LOL
Now it is no longer a problem.

I'm bumping this one up because I have the same trouble. I am running XOOPS 2.0.14 with News 1.44. I am in central time (CST -6:00) my host is on Pacific time (-8:00).

I set the publish time for 5:50 and it stamped 11:50.

Hi everyone.

I also need a recommendation. Has any one heard of midPhase.com? It seems they have an excellent product and price. Has any one had experiences with this hosting company.

I'd like a virtual private server hosting with at least 20G of disk space and Cpanel. It is a must to have shell access and that it be Linux.

Any suggestions?

xcGal :: how/where to remove text on index block for albums

I've tried for days to find where to remove the text that says "# pictures in # albums with # comments viewed # times" at the top of the albums block and the bottom that says "# albums on # page(s)".

I thought for sure I could do it. But I'm finally conceding defeat.

Can some kind soul help me?
