could someone try and access my site, it is incredibly slow from UK, the server is in USA, need to find out if it is a local problem.

Its taking forever from here, yet I can access any other site in a flash?

You are in bonny Holland? I was there once, and was told that the Hollander's were like the doer Scots..

But they cant really be if they have mayonaise with chips or rather "potats" is it..?

Patat is the word or in my local lingo : frit mit stump.
Besides that I eat lot's of healthy things like hamburgers, donuts, loads of chocolate and so on to keep it a little in balance. That's why I feel like 25 while I'm 52 years old

btw, I have some problems with the loading time of my site too. It used to be very fast, now it takes seconds to load. Could be a host related problem, but I usely wait some days to see if it changes.

Sounds like a life prolonging diet, I am a young 54 with hair and teeth, so it must indeed work till a decrepit old age..:)

It took about 10 seconds to fully load for me from my workplace in Australia. We do use a dedicated 2MB pipe to/from Boston for our Internet feed though.

UK using AOL isp. 25 seconds to complete load on 56k modem 4.5kbs/sec

ahh, thanks Carnuke, its a UK routing problem then.

I am with onsmart.net who are pretty good, they are looking into the problem..
