Well, I agree with you on these names, but you could do that yourself if you install this module, name it whatever you like.

I like a setup like : http://exm.amevita.eu/uploads/publish/screenshots/index.html

I would like to have a button for site maintenance with options like : optimise/check/repair database and empty some tables as well as directories that are known to get filled as time goes bye.

I would like the blocks 'connected' to the modules, so when I enter the module menu there is a button 'blocks'.
The way it is now is a pain in the ... especially if you have many modules installed.

I would like a better user 'handling' but for this I think that there first should be a better, more consistent 'profile' module / software.

A build in password for admin entrance, a password with an automatic time out.

For protecting admin by ip you could use htaccess like here : http://xoops-tips.com/news-article.storyid-9.htm or set this in the options of protector.

Protector can also check how many times someone tries to login and block too many login attempts.

For me, I would like to see that users are forced to give two names (login and real name) and that modules at least have a choice to display one or the other.

Preventing multilogins by the same user is an option in XOOPS exm/xm, but I don't know where they implemented this code.
