Very impressive work, geekwright.
SO many functionnalities in this theme,

Glad you like it!

My favorite aspect of open source is that when you put some thing out to the world, there is always a chance that someone will do something wonderful with it. I hope it serves you well!

Hi geekwright, can I ask for a little help?

I'm using this theme ( dark version ) in a new creation dedicated to photographers and photography lovers in general ...
One of the main modules is goffy's wggallery, which is doing a great job!

Obviously all the emphasis is on images and we have tried to optimize CSS to get the best performance from smartphones on 4k monitors.
In particular for small phones I have tried to minimize the side spaces so as to give the greatest possible space to the individual responsive images ... but ...
first idea was to reduce the value of padding in ".container maincontainer "!
In fact it would work but ... scrolling the screen to the left, the page moves (as if it were larger than the width of the monitor) and displays a small empty band of some pixels on the right : something really horrendous!
With the preset left and right padding value of 15px, this does not happen!

Too bad because I really like this theme : clean, reliable with all the modules and intuitive (but not very easy for me at least) to be customized.

Some idea ?? (Before I do any worse damage ???)

Ty for suggestion alain

( it will be useful in future for sure ...) but i don't think the problem is there ... or I don't know WHERE use this tool!

In this theme we NEED the container as reference for all modules pages ( I think ) ... only the "padding right" command intefere with ... something !!! But wich ??? Maybe with @media commands? Mah ...

TY anyway

Humm, Not clear,
i dont understand...

U use bootstrap (with xswatch, it's B V3)

With B4 or b3, u can use autamatically with media :

See the table here

xs, sm, md and mg...

When I have customized it for sites, I have always used the source code to recompile the Bootstrap css. There are a lot of calculations done to keep things sane.

See:https://github.com/thomaspark/bootswatch

The master branch has the bootstrap v4 versions in scss.

The v3 branch has the v3 code, in less and scss.

Also, you should be able to switch xSwatch to v4 just by using the v4 css and js found there, and tweaking the xSwatch templates as needed.

Ok guys ...
you have to keep in mind that I'm not at your level ... anyway:

- actually in my installation I have the bootswatch v3.3.7 version in bootstrap.min.css

- In the themes list ( updated to v4.3.1.) where I can find the bootstrap.min.css file I don't see xswatch ...

do I have to go different ways?
