XOOPS makes the group permission capabilities available as evidence by the modules that make good use of it. it still needs work for Whos Online and PM. But some module developers are happy to get something talking from point A to point B, and decide to publish it for others to use while they develop their skills (or get the extra time) to program in group permissions. In no other area is this more obvious than in the world XOOPS chat modules.
What are you looking for exactly, for all groups to access any chat room, or specific groups to access specific chatrrooms?
