Re: upgrading problem

Something is not right on my site and I'm determined to figure it out.

I have one of the old XOOPS themes (imago06), could you please tell me how to modify the main menu section so it looks like the current XOOPS menu; thinner fonts etc.

Tq Ghia...I have restored all the backup files and upgrage to 2.3. really terrible huhu...

Now my other problem is I cannot edit the module administration page. Before this it's ok but suddenly everytime I try to edit (e.g. to change the 1 value to 0, or to uninstall certain modules) I will be redirected to the system configuration page without the modules setting being changed.

Why? Is it something to do with the permission of my files on ftp software? or what?

tq in advance.

Look in the css files of your theme directory and add the required formats to the #mainmenu and #usermenu selectors.

Is nothing changeable in admin or only some pages?

Re: upgrading problem

ghia, I didn't bother to continue working from the upgrade, there were too many hitches. Instead I did a fresh install and transfered my database and I am using the XOOPS theme that came with the install.

Now my links mod is no longer working, I installed the happy linux but it didn't change anything. For my newbb, it's not allowing me access to the forums
https://xoops.org/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=65176&forum=28&post_id=293789

I did everything in the above link

I cannot uninstall or rename the modules after activate it. Or hide (set value as "0") to hide from main menu.

How many modules do you have on that module manager page?

If it are the lasts modules in the list that seems unmanageable, then it could be you have an issue with Suhosin.
