getting rid of transition pages

I don't want pages like "thank you for loggin in", "thanks for your submission" or "you don't have permission to access this area" to appear before redirecting (waste of time imo ). Any ideas to disable this?

Someone asked almost the exact same question a few days ago... have you searched the forum?

thanks, but that topic suggests replacing redirect_header(...) with redirect_header() which:
1. doesn't seem to work for me
2. would be a lot of work doing it for every single file separately

thanks but to download the guide from that link i need to be registered there, and registration is impossible at this moment... can anyone give me an other link to that guide? thx
