The "news" module makes it possible to add a "recent news" block in which the items can be ordered by published date. However, this is "newest first" by default and cannot be changed in the settings, while i would like it to be "oldest first". How can i do that?
Using the "archives" block is not an option since it does not have the possibility to show only certain topics (which i want). Of course, a way to do that would also be a solution but i think it would be more complicated.

thanks! i had deleted that option menu for simplicity, that's why i couldn't think of that myself. but i changed the default in the admin area, so problem solved.

I noticed a topic that was inactive for about 4 months was automatically removed, and i want to prevent this in the future... how?

How do i edit the title bar? I don't like the standard XOOPS title bars, i would like the same title bar for all pages on my site. How do i do this?

when i login to the admin area online, the only pages of the "news" module i can access are "permissions" and "preferences", all others result in blank pages (for example "topics manager").
On my local install i didn't have this problem, only online.
The admin area of all other modules works fine.
Any suggestions?
