This has partly been discussed here but im looking to ban a couple specific websites from allowing people to join with temporary email address accounts
These accounts would have been registered with this specific domains in their name.
Ok so for those who DONT know where to add this stuff in and want to follow us in this discussion
you would goto
ADMIN > SYSTEM ADMIN > PREFERANCES > User Info Settings
and then look at the part which allows you to place domains names listed that you want to BLOCK from registering in your website.
its the line where you see
"Enter emails that should not be used in user profile"
the instructions tell me to put something like this in my list
xoops.org$
for example to stop people from joining my site with the email addresses of
WHATEVER @ xoops.org
but something seems missing here.
what if i want to stop people from joinging with a Freemail.hu account?
i cant put in xoops.org$ | freemail.hu$
to stop both can i? is this correct?
If so, then i have placed into my
xoops.org$ |.info$ |citromail.hu$
however the one for .info$ shouldnt work typed like that because there is no domain extention.
how would you stop someone from using WHATEVER @ .INFO account
