Interesting that this post has replaced the word 'Impress CMS' with '?????'

Not only some users but even ?cms word was banned and is not welcome on xoops.org. I won´t talk about this, I already gave my opinion.

Smartmodules will probally loose compatibility with xoops. Smartobject is already part of the I?ms core so I think it is a matter of time.

I would not bother with lack of support. Ic?s doesn´t have word nor users restritions.

So as you can see, with probably only exception of WF-Downloads, the support is very sporadic there, to say the least.

But the fact is that many users of SmartFactory modules are coming for support to XOOPS Forums, and are getting help (e.g. see this thread or this thread).

So no reason to worry - we will provide support for SmartFactory modules here on XOOPS Website.

Mamba - Thanks very much for your reply. I must admit I have posted a few bug fixes at Smartfactory forums in the past, and they seem to go unnoticed, .... oh well.

That's good that modules like Smartsection and SmartObject will continue to be supported here. My main concern is actually website security, and at present, with Protector and other changes, the website I run XOOPS on, is well, as 'safe as it can be', from malicious users. So, I wondered if the whole XOOPS core and the modules I use, may be 'at risk'.

However, you have re-assured me, ... thanks a lot.

WF-Links doesn't use SmartObject since version 1.05 RC-1.

Perhaps it was XOOPS moving away from SmartFactory like they did from GIJOE. It just depends on how you look at it.
