Don't suppose he'll read this but I wanted to say a public "Thank You" to Gijoe for his "Protector" module.

Some scrote from a London-based ISP (I'll name and shame later if I get no joy from the them!) launched three simultaneous SQL Injection/ISOCOM/UN-ION (without the "-" ) attacks on my site in the early hours of this morning.

Protector 3.16beta stopped the lot. Fabulous. For some reason they were targetting /modules/news/article.php

I've banned IP 83.138.142.194 from accessing my site. Anyone else had trouble with this IP address?

this is a MUST module for every XOOPS site! I think it should be included to xoops. Thanks to GIJOE for his great work!Thumbs up!! :)

I have heard about this module but never really looked into it. I will have to check it out. Thanks.

Yeah I would have to say protector is great, but I must say, even the performance of my sites improved from installing it.

It would be good if Protector was 'part' of the XOOPS core.

I installed it after someone tried an SQL injection. It's a great module. Also, I have found server security setup has a big part to play in attempted exploits; a lot depends on how tight security is, if the browser is returned a 403 or 404 on uri's that have "http" in them (trying to pass a remote file).

Yes, Gijoe should be thanked by many people.
NO to the Microsoft Office format as an ISO standard.
