The only way I was able to do it was to make Yogurt my default userpage. When you view another user there should be a link above the tabs to request them to be your friend. Otherwise I'm not sure how.
The instructions to make Yogurt your default user page are in the docs/install.txt file, or simply:

Hack to make the yogurt userpage as the main userpage of your site:

Open userinfo.php in the root of your site, search at the very beggining of the file for

$uid = intval($_GET['uid']);
if ($uid <= 0) {
redirect_header('index.php', 3, _US_SELECTNG);
exit();
}

Add after this the following line:
header("Location:".XOOPS_URL."/modules/yogurt/index.php?uid=".$uid);

Thanks for the tip. I tried it but i still get a error message. Not sure what to do.

Here is the message...

Unable to install yogurt. Error(s):
You have an error in your SQL syntax near 'ENGINE=MyISAM' at line 6

Any help would be appreciated.

Oh and I read back, did anyone get a reply to the avatar thing? Seems most can't use any of their uploaded pics as avatar..I get this --

Unfortunately, this module has acted in an unexpected way. Hopefully it will return to its helpful self if you try again.

Also, I can't delete scraps. yes I see the red x to delete, but when I hit that, it takes me to "are you sure you want to delete" I say yes, it goes blank, and the scrap is still there

If anyone can help that would be great, otherwise I will have to uninstall it at my site, and all the members love it so far.

chicks - not sure if this will help or frustrate more, but: choosing uploaded pics as avatar works fine for my users. Deleting scraps also works. I'm running XOOPS 2.0.18 and Yogurt 3.0.

Hmmm, I have version 2.9, didn't know there was a yogurt 3.0, where do I get that?
I don't have the latest xoops, however my tech is suppose to upgrade for me soon...but maybe until then I can try yogurt 3.0

Thanks..I have installed it...still can't delete scraps...and now when I upload pics, i get a red x where the pics should be, expect the one in my profile...also the first time I added the avatar it worked, now when I try to change it it says you have succesfully changed avatar, but it's the same one. Then it works, then it doesn't arrrggghhh.

My admin panel says I need framework? but the link it give isn't open....i do h ave something called smartobject framework...

Or is it I need to upgrade to new xoops?

Sorry for the questions, I really want this to work.

You'll want XOOPS Frameworks. 1.22 I believe is the latest.

any help with mine please?

i have 6 tribes created
how do i delete them because i cant even see links to GET to them

my Yogurt profile only shows that there are 6 created and no access to any of them

Also i changed the file extension of one of my pics to a jpg
and then tried using that to upload for a Tribe pic
it tells me

" Errors Returned While Uploading
Suspicious image upload refused
Failed uploading file: antifmradio-mp3.jpg "

About the avatar thing, some users can and some can t? Do you kno if they use the same browser?
