thanks, i figured it out a few minutes ago, i had earlier messed with permissions and unchecked something for anons that kept them from having access that leads to the page. it's working now. sorry about that

I just upgraded to this version. me and my co admin notice now when we log out and click on "register" we are directed back to the user log in page. Please help as we get new members every day

thanks, i'll have my tech upgrade my XOOPS and then install

i've never done this before so bear with me

is the upgrade as easy as uploading to my ftp, overwrite the files then go to admin panel, install and update? and all my news items will still be there?

I'm slow I didn't know there was a 1.66. does it work this way too? i have XOOPS version 2.3.0

sorry i found that it in preference, however the area where you type your message is too long and still throws the page off

How can I hide the smileys? I want to use them just not have them all showing in a line at the bottom as i have many and it throws the page off big time

i notice Big Story is gone. Was that part of altern8news and if so is there another module like that? I kinda liked it
