I need to start a new website and I'm affraid that I won't be able to use XOOPS unless there was a module that had the following functions.

Let's say that I've got a group of suppliers with their contact details. Would it be possible that you could search/select suppliers on multiple contact detail fields? Like for instance: all suppliers that have a specific product in a specific province.

Any suggestions how to tackle this one ?

There is not such a module yet, but with a few modifications your requirements can easily be implemented in the EFQ Directory module. At the moment this module still being developed.
