Thanks for those links.
Another question: Does XOOPS provide image functions to the developer?
I want to create a module to modify the web page's logo through the admin interface instead of using the ftp connection.
In order to do that I need to do some commons tasks like uploading files, forms, text sanitation, validation and image resizing. I also need to know the path to the logo, I suspect that is related to the theme.

I am asking those things because I haven't found any api documentation. I have downloaded several modules to try to see how they perform those task, but I have realized each developer do what the want (or can).

Any help would be appreciate.

What logo is displayed is controlled by the theme, not by XOOPS code. You'll usually find a line such as Quote:
<a href="<{$xoops_url}>"><img src="<{$xoops_imageurl}>logo.gif" alt="" /></a>

in theme.html

Can't this pdf doc (in first post of this thread) be updated? It is already in such a great format. Only needs to have a last update lift.
