I'm using NewBB 2.0.

Sorry, guess it wasn't specific enough. The above is a copy of my forum. How do I make it look like this forum here in xoops.org? I think I'm running the same module. newbb 2.0? Mine looks nothing like a forum. I must be missing something. I have that light blue box which takes up half the screen and my catagories, etc. don't look like this one does.

Try switching to the default XOOPS theme and see what happens - could be the theme doing things. The other thing is to create some posts - nothing will show up without some posts -(0 post meassage) write a welcome post for each forum and category and make it sticky - then see what it looks like. Oh - and check your forum permissions - make sure the correct users have been given permissions.

Do you have <{$xoops_module_header}> near the top of your theme.html file?

In my theme.html its on line 19 underneath this line:

<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" media="screen" href="<{$xoops_url}>/xoops.css" />

Code follows:

<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" media="screen" href="<{$xoops_imageurl}>style.css" />
<
link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" media="screen" href="<{$xoops_url}>/xoops.css" />
<!--
RMVadded module header -->
[
color=CC3300]<{$xoops_module_header}>[/color]
<
script type="text/javascript">
<!--
<{
$xoops_js}>
//-->
</script>

Thanks, that made a big difference. Now, how would I change the background color for the catagory block? I looked in various php pages and even a few of the html pages and didn't see no place to do that. There are lots of pages, so I thought of index etc., with no luck.

I believe that will be in a css file for the module.

David, thanks.

I tried to change the css and nothing changed in my module. Is there somewhere else?
